WHERE I'VE BEEN & WHAT I'VE

BEEN DOIN'...

Having spent the last 20 years performing professionally all over the globe, I am thrilled to return to the community that provided me such a rich playground in which to study and learn.

Born and raised in Rochester, NY, I was fortunate to go through the Penfield School system, one of many in the area that recognize and emphasize the importance of The Arts in education.  I earned my degree in Musical Theatre from The State University of New York at Buffalo, all the while commuting back and forth to Rochester taking advantage of the many community theatre opportunities.  With my sights set on NYC, I...moved to Nashville.  Yep, sometimes it's the detours that present the greatest learning experiences.  I spent four years writing and recording and learning the inner workings of the music business, while being afforded great performing opportunities-(look Mama, I'm on The Opry)!  Alas, NYC still beckoned...

I made the move to NYC in 2001, only to immediately pack upon arrival, having landed a coveted spot backing up the inimitable Bette Midler on a world tour-(Mama, I'm a Harlette)!

Ten years, four broadway shows, and countless television, film and stage experiences later, I have returned to Rochester with the goal of giving back to the community where it all began. I am collaborating on new works and performing when my schedule allows, however, my focus has shifted.  I am proud to be working with up and coming local talent by way of NicoletteHartStudios-my private acting/vocal coaching studio, as well as doing Master Classes in and around the Rochester area.

I am immensely proud to announce that in 2017, I was asked to join the faculty at Nazareth College, teaching Musical Theatre Performance, Voice and coming soon, Rock the Audition, Sheri Sanders Pop/Rock Audition course, for which I have become a Certified Instructor!

My goal now is to provide an environment where kids and young adults can develop skills and strengthen their individual talent, while at the same time emphasizing the importance of becoming a well rounded, confident person no matter their pursuits.  I wish for young people to learn as I have that passion feeds potential, and if you're not learning you're not growing.
